Is this different from a UPI QR code?
It uses the same UPI payment URI format. The page is optimized for PhonePe workflows, but the generated payload can also work in other UPI apps.
Can I set a fixed amount?
Yes. Add an amount for fixed-price items or invoices, or leave it blank so the customer can enter the amount in their UPI app.
Do PhonePe UPI QR codes expire?
Static UPI QR codes do not expire on QR Code Crafter. They keep working as long as the UPI ID and payment details remain valid.
How should customers verify the payment?
Customers should confirm the recipient name, UPI ID, amount, and note inside PhonePe before approving the transfer.
Which file format should I use?
Use SVG, PDF, or EPS for print and signage. Use PNG, JPG, or WebP for receipts, WhatsApp messages, websites, and digital documents.
Does QR Code Crafter connect to my PhonePe account?
No. QR Code Crafter creates the static QR image from the UPI details you enter. PhonePe or another UPI app handles login, payment approval, settlement, limits, and confirmations.
Should I create fixed-amount or variable PhonePe QR codes?
Use fixed amounts for price lists, invoices, tickets, deposits, and specific services. Leave the amount blank when customers should enter the value inside PhonePe or another UPI app.
How should I test a PhonePe QR code before printing?
Scan the final artwork in PhonePe and at least one other UPI app, confirm the recipient, UPI ID, amount, and note, then test one physical proof from the real counter, receipt, or sign distance.
Will QR Code Crafter confirm PhonePe payments?
No. QR Code Crafter does not process payments or receive UPI status updates. Reconcile successful payments inside PhonePe, your bank, your PSP, or your accounting workflow.
