Use a QR code for hosted invoices, statements, purchase orders, receipts, manuals, or proof-of-work files that are too long for printed paper.
Support and dispute handling
Link to an order status page, support form, return instructions, or payment help page when customers need context before paying.
Invoice QR security and proofing
Invoice QR codes can move money or expose documents, so review them more carefully than ordinary marketing links.
Verify payment recipients
Confirm payee names, payment handles, IBANs, VPAs, PIX keys, and invoice references before generating QR codes for real invoices.
Keep fallback instructions visible
Print the payment reference, amount, due date, and support contact beside the QR code so customers can check the destination.
Avoid private payloads
Do not encode private customer details, one-time access tokens, bank credentials, or passwords directly in a static QR code.
Test the final invoice
Scan from printed invoices, email PDFs, and accounting-system exports because compression or layout changes can affect readability.
